XOLTAs cookie policy

XOLTA A/S (“we”, “our” or “us”) wants to provide a transparent website with the content that is most relevant to you. In order to do so, we use technologies that collect information about you and about how you and other visitors use [www.xolta.com] (the “Website”).

With this policy we want to provide transparency as well as a complete overview of how your personal data are processed, what you should be aware of, and how you may oppose processing.

In the following, we explain the legal basis for our processing of your personal data by reference to the Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”).

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files saved on your computer, smartphone or other electronic devices. Our use of cookies on the Website enables us to recognise your computer/IP address and collect information about the sites you visit, the functions you use, and where and when you do so.

Cookies can be divided into first-party cookies and third-party cookies. First-party cookies are cookies placed and used by the owner of the website. Third-party cookies are cookies placed and used by someone other than the owner of a website. Cookies may be used both by [XOLTA A/S] and by third parties (see the table of cookies).

There are two types of cookies: “temporary cookies” and “permanent cookies”. Temporary cookies are used during the course of you visit to the Website and are deleted automatically when you close your browser. Permanent cookies will not be deleted automatically when you close your browser; they will be stored on your device. Permanent cookies self-delete after a certain period, but will be renewed every time you visit the Website.

You will find a more detailed description in the cookie declaration at the bottom of this page.

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is the legitimate interest pursued by [XOLTA’s] (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Our legitimate interest is to collect statistics relating to the user’s use of the website, including for the purpose of optimising the user’s use of the website. Read more about our processing of your personal data in Plesner’s privacy policy.

You can always revoke or change your consent by deselecting cookies in the cookie declaration. Please note that if you deselect cookies, all functionalities on the Website may not work properly.

Blocking and deleting cookies

All browsers allow you to delete cookies individually or all at once. How to block cookies may depend on the browser you use. If you have used several browsers, you will have to change or revoke your consent in each browser.

Alternatively, you may also block cookies. You must also do so in each browser. Please note that if you delete or block cookies, the website may not work properly.

More information about cookies

Use of cookies is regulated by the Danish “Executive Order on information and consent required in case of storing and accessing information in end-user terminal equipment” (the “Cookie Order”).
